Goal

The BioMinT End User Club (EUC) has been set up to further increase the diversity of users involved in the development process and to foster dissemination of project results in the biological community. Together with the two "internal" users, University of Manchester and Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics, the EUC members will play a key role in the initial specification and continuous evaluation of the BioMinT tool.

Representatives of pharmaceutical and biotech companies and academic institutes looking for text mining solutions are invited to join the End User Club.  Click here and send us your membership request together with your contact details.

Why join?

As a member of the BioMinT End User Club you will have the opportunity to get early access to innovative text mining technology. From Q2 2004 onwards you will be invited to closed BioMinT EUC meetings where you get:
  • hands-on experience with the BioMinT tool
  • a view "under the hood"
  • an opportunity to suggest your favourite extensions to the tool
On a more regular basis, you can follow progress of the project via the restricted BioMinT EUC newsletters webpage. In this newsletter you will find information on upcoming BioMinT EUC events, as well as pointers to technical publications and presentations by the BioMinT partners.

The project is funded by the European Commission as BioMinT, contract-no. QLRI-CT-2002-02770
